About Family Practice Associates

Locally owned, Family Practice Associates was founded in 1980 by Dr. Samuel Taggart. As our name suggests, we are family-oriented and believe in providing excellent care for adults as well as children. Our clinic has grown to now include seven physicians and a Nurse Practitioner who are all board-certified in family medicine: Dr. Kirk Watson, Dr. Evelyn Cathcart, Dr. Mark Albey, Dr. Kristen Wright, Dr. Lisa Barker, Dr. Jared Dixon, and Dr. Joseph Morgan, and Melanie Mabry, APRN. 

After practicing for 19 years in Medical Office Building A next to Saline Memorial Hospital, we relocated in 2011 to 1304 Military Road to have ample space for our constantly growing practice.
